Ming Tombs II

Going underground meant descending a long flight of stairs deep underground. They really need to put in an escalator. Then we walked through a long hall way, through several gateways, and past what looked like thrones, until we reached the rear hall. Everywhere, you will see the Chinese throw money. I'm not sure what that means exactly, do they do it for luck? Or out of respect for the emperor?
